Insulglass fabrics are also being used as a fire blanket in hotels, restaurants, home kitchens, workshops and site, where there is a potential of a small open fire.
Insulglass fabrics, when used to cover over these fires, will extinguish it by restricting the oxygen supply.
Insulglass are fiberglass fabrics woven into various weights, recommended for use in situation where moderate to heavy molten sparks are forbidden. The fabric’s thickness and dense packing serves to protect against penetration of unwanted welding sparks.
Insulglass fabrics are widely used in the heavy industries where welding sparks could cause injuries to personnel, or damage building or vessel walls, floors and goods, or initiate an open fire or explosion. It is most suitable for use in the oil and gas refineries, petrochemical and shipbuilding and repair industries.
Insulglass fabrics are also widely used as filter cloth in air and oil filtration, especially in a high service temperature environment. It has a very good wet out properties. It easily picked up and retained oil and dirt, allowing clean air to pass through.
