Aerated concrete is produced using a mixer of cement, sand, water and a foaming agent that when passes through an aerator, create foam of uniform size and quality throughout the matrix.
The density of aerated concrete can be from 300kg/m3~ 2100kg/m3 depending on the design mix.
Due to the air trapped within the matrix, the aerated concrete becomes a natural sound and heat insulation materials. It is widely used in the following application.
- Lightweight blocks
- Lightweight panel
- In- filled material for crevices, partition, doors
- Insulated floor screed
- Lightweight decorative products
